30Y-recycling stagewear

As part of the X project, not only was the visual world of the music videos and their accompanying recycling merch collection created, but unique stage outfits were also made for the members of 30Y. These outfits were worn throughout the band’s X album release concert series.

The recycling approach was once again at the heart of the project, with the garments’ base materials sourced from the curated selection at Jajcica Vintage. The aim was to transform existing vintage pieces through painting, embroidery and reworking into new garments that would both connect to the visual world of the X album and feel deeply personal to each musician.

For each band member, we started from their individual needs and personal character. It was important that the stage outfits not feel like traditional costumes. They had to be comfortable and personal enough for the musicians to genuinely want to wear them in everyday life, while still feeling natural on stage rather than looking like costumes.

For Zoli, for example, we created a pair of flared trousers, along with a painted and embroidered corduroy jacket. The wardrobe was also complemented by T-shirts and sweatshirts, all drawing on motifs and moods connected to the album. Together, they became an integral part of the unified visual universe that also emerged in the music videos and the recycling merch collection.
